Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that starting physiotherapy can come with questions. Whether you're visiting us for the first time or returning to continue your care, this section is here to give you clear, helpful answers about what to expect at The REMEDY.
What exactly do you do at The Remedy Physio?
We’re a physiotherapy clinic — but not the cold, clinical kind. We treat pain, improve mobility, and help you move better through personalized, expert care. Think of us as your health partner, not just a treatment pit stop.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No! You can come straight to us. Whether you’re dealing with back pain, prepping for a marathon, or just want to feel looser after long office hours — you’re welcome.
What kinds of issues do you treat?
Office syndrome, lower back pain, neck stiffness, knee problems, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, sports injuries — and more. If it hurts, moves weird, or isn’t moving at all, we’ll take a look.
Is it going to hurt?
We won’t lie — sometimes it’s a little uncomfortable (tight muscles). But our therapists are skilled at knowing how far to go and when to ease up. You’ll feel safe and supported the whole time.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in — like gym gear or loose pants and a t-shirt. No need to get fancy. We also have a change clothes you can change into for convenience.
How long is a session?
Most sessions are about 50–55 minutes. But if you need something more tailored, we’ll let you know during your assessment.
How do I book?
Easy — you can call us, message us, book online or just walk in! Whichever works for you.
Do you offer packages or memberships?
Yes! We have flexible plans for those who want regular care or are on a longer recovery journey. Just ask us and we’ll help you find the right fit.
Where are you located?
We’re right in the heart of Thonglor, inside J Avenue on the 3rd floor. Easy to find, even easier to return to.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes — and no strings attached. We just think it’s important you feel confident and comfortable before committing to anything.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently operate on a self-pay basis. However, we’re happy to provide detailed receipts and documentation if you’d like to claim reimbursement from your insurance provider. Just let us know what you need.
Can I use company health benefits or wellness programs?
Yes — many of our clients use company-provided wellness budgets or health benefits. We’re happy to issue tax invoices or supporting documents for reimbursement. If you're unsure, check with your HR team or let us assist you.
Do you offer post-operative rehabilitation?
Absolutely. Whether you’re recovering from joint surgery, spinal procedures, or soft tissue repairs, we’ll create a personalized rehab plan to support healing, restore strength, and get you moving confidently again.
How soon after surgery can I begin physiotherapy?
That depends on your procedure and your surgeon’s guidance. In many cases, early-stage physiotherapy begins within days to promote circulation and prevent stiffness. If you’re not sure, we’re happy to coordinate with your medical team.
Can you help with long-term recovery after surgery?
Yes — we don’t just focus on short-term healing. Our approach supports you through every stage of recovery, from regaining mobility to rebuilding strength and preventing re-injury.
